This bond is an extra strong adhesive that can be used to permanently bond fabric to fabric or fabric to felt! More heavy duty than Bondaweb.

It is 44cm wide.

This is sold in half metre (50cm x 44cm) increments and will be cut continuously in one piece from the roll.
If you wish to order a metre for example add 2 to your basket.

HeatnBond® Ultrahold is paper backed, iron-on double-sided adhesive for bonding fabric without the need for pinning. Ultrahold’s no-sew bond is stronger than traditional fusible webs. The solid sheet adhesive means edge to edge coverage for fabric felt or appliqué etc.

All you need is a damp cloth and an iron!

Cut to size and place the adhesive sheet rough side down on the wrong side of the fabric. Then with your iron set to a medium heat, iron the adhesive for about 5-10 seconds.

Peel off the backing paper and it will leave a pre bonded fabric ready to iron onto clothing, pillowcases, bedding, felt etc.

Lay this adhesive side down to your item such as felt and cover with a damp cloth and iron over the entire fabric pressing down lightly and making sure heat is applied evenly to the entire project.

Leave it flat and allow to cool before using.

If you have a piece of fabric with only a few loose threads, or a small fraying edge you want to prevent from unraveling, apply Super Glue directly along the cut edge using a cotton swab or toothpick. This will prevent further fraying. This technique also works well to help prevent sheer or loosely woven fabrics from unraveling as you sew them.
